On Wednesday 12th October shops, eateries, salons and more will be welcoming new and returning students back to the city centre with a very special student event.
The first Brilliant Brighton student event will see a plethora of independent businesses and high street favourites offering student discounts and events in-store, while local musicians add to the atmosphere throughout the city centre with live music. A limited number of Brilliant Brighton goody bags will also be available on the evening to collect from MAC Cosmetics, CASS Art and Superdry.
Just a few exclusive discounts for students to enjoy during the evening include double student discount of 30% at Crêpeaffaire, 20% off at Cass Art, 20% off plus a free shower gel when spending over £30 at Rituals, and 20% off and free t-shirts for the first fifty customers at Superdry.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming freshers to the city, and celebrating the return of students who’ve come back to our brilliant city to study,” Shelley Welti, Marketing and Events Manager for Brilliant Brighton (a not for profit organisation formed of 517 city centre businesses, who come together to make the city a fantastic place to work, live and visit) says. “This is the first event of its kind that we’re hosting and we look forward to seeing students find new fave places to eat, drink and shop.”
Businesses throughout the Brilliant Brighton area, which spans East Street, North Street, Western Road, Market Street, Brighton Place, Meeting House Lane, Bond Street, Gardner Street, Kensington Gardens, Western Road and Preston Street, will be taking part in the event on Wednesday 12th October, between 4-7pm.
