On 17th September 2023 Pierre Diamantopoulo’s sculpture, Flight of the Langoustine, was publicly inaugurated by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove onto Hove Plinth.
Hove Plinth was an ambitious community art project and the brainchild of the Hove Civic Society. I was part of the selection panel that chose the sculptures for this project, and I am honoured to be the partner gallery for the Hove Plinth. KMA will exclusively offer individual bronze editions based on Pierre’s Flight of the Langoustine sculpture for sale. Part of the proceeds will be invested back into future public art projects.
This month’s exhibition features a bronze edition of Flight I, Flight of the Langoustine, alongside a selection of notable works by Pierre Diamantopoulo. KMA are also exhibiting new collections from painters Sam Peacock, David Hayward, print artist Rachel Williams, and introducing new painter Adam Brace to the gallery.
