Bohemia Grand Cafe & Late Lounge

Tucked away among the cobbled streets in the heart of Brighton’s historical Lanes, Bohemia is unmissable.  Luxurious and layered in tradition, it offers a unique ambience with its’ artistic interior and candlelit tables.  Bohemia is a European-style Grand Cafe restaurant and creative cocktail bar, beautifully arranged over three floors in a handsome 19th-century building, with a few hidden spaces and charms up its’ sleeve.

An architectural delight, many of the original features have been restored in this interesting building, while the interior decor includes items of interest such as salvaged parts from the city’s iconic West Pier and old musical instruments. Look out for the money hidden in the glass floor and the old typewriters on the ceiling!

Bohemia boasts several sophisticated lounges, including the main bar, where there is a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere in its’ rustic surroundings with a sociable island bar, and the glitzy Late Lounge upstairs, which is open every weekend.

The tempting range of freshly prepared food and drink on offer includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, as well as Champagne and cocktail evenings. The masterclasses prove very popular for small parties wanting to learn a new skill from an experienced barman! During the day, families are always welcomed with children where they can enjoy an appetising children’s menu (and may want a go on the vintage Pac Man machine!)
