Medusa Bar

The MEDUSA BAR is the kind of gem which wouldn’t be out of place in the trendy streets of London’s Soho district but it’s right here in Brighton at number 20 Preston Street.

This is one of Brighton’s oldest bars, and has been running for over 30 years. It is easily recognisable with it’s small patio frontage where you can sit and watch the world go by. Situated amongst the many restaurants, it’s a bar to enjoy before or after eating out.

The owner, George, has created a unique vibe with great music, relaxed quirky decor and a bar that rocks. There are exotic rums, cocktail, shots, carefully selected wines, draught and bottled beers from all over the world and London Pride for the real ale buff.

George’s passion for live music creates The Stage – an improvisation night every Thursday for live music, comedy and more, which is popular with music students.

The Medusa Bar is a playground for your senses and a sanctuary for you soul.
