Sunshine Crafts – North St

An eco-friendly business based on a Kurdish women’s foundation. All toys are handmade by The Nefel Women’s Collective with natural materials using different crochet techniques and designs.

Nefel Women’s Collective was founded in 2020 in Amed/Diyarbakir by Kurdish women. They started as 8 women, steadily growing to a fantastic team of 62 women, who still continue to make toys that people love. Every toy is a labour of love, and each one bought gives hope to the women of the Collective.
