The Red Gecko

Red Gecko are first and foremost a family business and have been an independent boutique store in Brighton since 2004.

Instead of following trends, Red Gecko’s focus is on creating products with thoughtful design that people love over time, not just for a season or the duration of a trend.  With proudly ethically traded products, the team have been working with the producers, packers and shippers for nearly two decades and always pay the price that is asked, or alternate methods or materials so that the item can be produced at a cost that allows decent profit for the producer.

The majority of their products are designed inhouse or chosen from their producers current collections. A small family run business in Bali, making everything by hand and are quite simply extremely talented at what they do! Passing down their skills generation by generation, their Hindu culture and religion is deeply influenced by dance, music and art.

The Red Gecko team have created a hassle free environment, encouraging customers to ‘browse’ to your hearts content, with no sales pitch (unless you want it!). Feel free to tap your toes to jazz or French Café music wafting through the air and enjoy the feeling of discovering something that inspires you.
