When Hotel Chocolat first started making Easter eggs, 20-plus years ago, they were advised to make them as fine as possible. We decided to break the rules and break the mould instead, opting for outrageously thick shells that are satisfyingly snappable.

Over two decades later, they’re still just as chunky, just as enjoyable to nibble, and still brimming with expertly paired filled chocolates. Even in the event of an egg hunt, Hotel Chocolat think this supremely chunky creation is far too good to be kept hidden…
