Pancake Day is here and if you’re yet to get your perfect pancake fix, here’s the places to head in Brilliant Brighton:

The Breakfast Club, Market Street

Serving brekkie and brunch, all day every day, The Breakfast Club is the perfect place to head for pancakes – whatever the time! For Pancake Day, they’re releasing two very tasty Willy Wonka-inspired delights:

  • Cherry Chocolate Scrumdiddlyumprious: pancakes layered with a sour cherry compote, topped with a chocolate bomb filled with cherry and chocolate, served with a river of hot chocolate ganache.
  • The  Violet Cheesecake Beauregarde: Inspired by gum chewing world champion Violet Beauregarde. Pancakes layered with blueberry compote and vanilla cheesecake cream, topped with a cloud of candy floss.

All Pancake Specials are available in cafs until 28th Feb.

And, it’s back: The Pancake Challenge! 12 Pancakes. 12 Minutes. Win? The stacks on The Breakfast Club,  and you can bask in eternal glory. Lose? You cough up £20 and they’ll take their community get-together groups on a whoop it up day out. Regardless of whether you win or lose, each challenger will receive a real life Pancake Day WONKA BAR. Munchies’ Craft, Market Street

Tantalise your tastebuds with Munchies’ Craft’s savoury gluten free Blue Breakfast pancakes; ‘never eaten a blue pancake but wanna give it a go’ (slightly-salted blue pancakes with poached egg, ham, mashed avocado, pickled red onion and melted cheese, mixed greens, and chives) and their ‘fancy  plant based and colourful’ pancakes (slightly-salted blue pancakes with beetroot hummus, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and vegan melted cheese, mixed green and chives, also gluten free). Got a sweet tooth? They have three sweet pancake options ranging from caramel chocolate, to white chocolate with raspberries, and the ‘Vegan Joy’ – blue gluten free and vegan pancakes with fresh berries, maple syrup and edible glitter.
