An African Summer Night Delight at COMMON Brighton

COMMON are very excited to welcome Lerato on 3rd August for her supper club of contemporary African cuisine.

Lerato is a passionate cook inspired by food, its origin and value to our well-being, happiness and identity. Her cooking career started in West Africa where she starred in a cooking show, here in the UK she is a food writer and hosts cookery classes and supper clubs in London, Brighton and beyond.

Lerato fell in love with the space here at Common and asked whether she could hold a supper club with us. Her vibrancy and energy was so infectious that we immediately welcomed her with open arms! Oh and her food looks spectacular too.

Lerato will be taking over our kitchen on Thursday 3rd August from 7pm and preparing a feast of Nigerian and African food. In true African spirit, the evening will feature abundant sharing plates at the centre of the table. Expect vibrant flavours with British summer fruits, peppers, exotic African spices and herbs.

Tickets and details of the menu are available on Lerato’s site.

Be sure to book soon as they are starting to sell out!
