Brighton’s Virgin Money Hope To Spread Xmas Cheer With Chocolates!

Virgin Money’s North Street store are now collecting chocolate gifts to give to hospital staff and patients this Christmas. Can you help them?

The team, who will be accepting chocolatey donations (of all sizes!) until Monday 19th December hope the gifts will ‘sweeten’ the lives of those spending the festive period in hospital, and the staff that care for them.

“We’re collecting until the 19th December, which is when we’ll be playing Santa and delivering them to the hospital after work!”, Store Manager Craig Barron explains.

“It really touched us when one of the nurses on the Neurological Ward said that they always get forgotten about when we delivered some Easter Eggs to them earlier on in the year.”

“The reason we chose this particular ward because they were involved in the rehabilitation of one my colleague’s mum after she successfully had a brain tumour removed a few years ago.”

“This time we’re trying to collect as many chocolates as possible so that more than just the one ward can have a sweet moment on us this Christmas! We’re just trying to add a bit of Christmas cheer to those who are working over the festive period, not forgetting those who they’re looking after and their families.”

“Any kind of chocolates would be massively appreciated – if they could be individually wrapped, that would be fantastic, as we’re putting them all into little individual gift bags.”

If you’d like to donate some chocolates (and help spread a little festive cheer!) visit Craig and his team at: 170 North Street, Brighton.
