Brilliant Brighton restaurants make Brighton’s Top 20

Congratulations are in order for three of our Brilliant Brighton businesses: Bincho Yakitori, 64 Degrees and 1909 who have been named in Brighton’s top 20 restaurants.

Brighton’s Best Restaurants awards (which took place on Monday 26th February 2018) have been created to celebrate the city’s dynamic restaurant scene and we’re thrilled that three of our local restaurants were voted as foodie favourites.

Japanese restaurant Bincho Yakitori, which takes inspiration from the back street izakaya bars of Tokyo to create authentic Japanese barbeque dishes, all from its open kitchen, just missed out on the number one spot, coming in at number two.

Address: 63 Preston Street
Website: http://binchoyakitori.com/
Phone: 01273 779021
Opening Times: Tues-Thurs & Sun: 6pm-10pm; Fri-Sat: 5:30pm-10:30pm; Mon: Closed

Coming in at number three is 64 Degrees, which for the last few years has bagged the top spot. This award-winning small plates restaurant in the heart of The Lanes has been acknowledged for being at the forefront of Brighton’s ‘restaurant revolution’ – with its ever changing menu and intimate atmosphere.

Opening Times: Mon-Sun: 12pm-3pm & 6pm-11pm

It may be relatively new to Brighton’s food scene, only opening in 2017, but 1909 was voted in at number 16 – beating many of the city’s longstanding establishments. Located upstairs in Pressley’s, this not-so secret small plates restaurant uses organic produce to devise delicious menus.
