First opening in 1979 (on Prince Albert Street and then moving to their current, Meeting House Lane location in the 80’s), Grains of Gold has become renowned for their large selection of platinum and diamond rings, wedding bands, vintage jewellery and watches.
The family-run jewellers, (still owned by Caius, who opened the store when he was just 21), is one of the few remaining local jewellers with an in-house workshop to create their beautiful pieces and carry out customer repairs, right in the heart of The Lanes.
Over their 40 years, the jewellers have retained a loyal team (most members of staff have worked at Grains of Gold for over twenty years!), meaning that many repeat customers have chosen their engagement and then wedding rings, anniversary gifts and also gifts for their children, with the same friendly faces.
