February 2018, saw a new era in the life of No. 48 Meeting House Lane, home to the Witch Ball since 1967. After approaching Mrs Gina Daniels of the Witch Ball with the idea of sharing the premises Helen Byrne and Pippa Terry of Fetheray antique jewellers, took over the lease.
The Fetheray ladies are not new faces to the Lanes, having worked in the area for 20 years and have between them 40 years experience in the antique jewellery trade. They felt their eye for the unique, eclectic and quirky choice of Georgian, Victorian and 20th Century jewellery was the perfect compliment to the Witch Ball’s antiquarian maps and prints.
Now the two businesses co-habit harmoniously in the cosy little 18th century shop. The Witch Ball’s maps and prints can be found decorating the walls, whilst Fetheray’s jewels can be found basking in the shop window.
The three of them look forward to inviting customers old and new to enjoy the delights of browsing in the charming ambience of their quaint little Georgian shop.
