Fine Art Gallery Paints Bright New Future For City’s High Street

The UK’s leading retail art company, Castle Fine Art, has re-homed its Brighton gallery as it takes to one of the most historic roads in Brighton; East Street. Bringing welcome news to the retail sector, this new gallery is set to open its doors to the public on Saturday 19 September in the popular seafront location.

Housed in a Victorian listed building, the new gallery covers nearly 4,000sqft and is set across two floors. The building boasts three large original bay windows across its upper floor, which not only gives the gallery an array of natural light, but also a view of the stunning streets of Brighton.

The brand-new gallery showcases many of the building’s original features, such as the original fireplace and sweeping staircase, which are all set alongside the brand’s signature style; bold colours and rich textures. The gallery, in true Castle Fine Art fashion, is also host to an exposed brickwork bar, meaning customers can sip a range of refreshments as they enjoy the ultimate shopping experience.

The relocation of the gallery is the latest move for the group, which has 40 galleries across the country. The Brighton space will house some of the gallery’s signature artists; Bob Dylan, Lorenzo Quinn, Stuart McAlpine Miller, Raphael Mazzucco and many more.

Ian Weatherby-Blythe, Group Managing Director at Castle Fine Art, said:

“The move makes for some much-needed good news in the world of retail right now. Despite the turbulent times for the UK’s high streets recently, we are so pleased to be able to offer some relief in the form of our new gallery. It is an exciting time for all of us at Castle Fine Art, and we cannot wait for the Brighton & Hove community to see and enjoy our new space.

“Now more than ever, the shopping experience is paramount, and we know that there is a renewed demand for an immersive customer journey when visiting the high street. We want to continue to offer our valued clients the full Castle Fine Art experience at every one of our locations, and with this new space we are able to do so.”

The new Castle Fine Art gallery will open Saturday 19 September and can be found at 55-56 East Street, Brighton, BN1 1HN.
