Help Make a Community Quilt at Closs & Hamblin Brighton

The Closs & Hamblin Brighton store is proud to announce its partnership with Sew In Brighton to make a Community Quilt for a local charity and are asking you to get involved!

“We will be running a series of classes in the store for 4 weeks with the aim of producing at least 25 squares and stitching them together during the classes to produce the quilt,” the team explain. “Once the quilt is finished we will display it in the store and then donate it to a local charity for auction or raffle to raise funds.”

Quilting teacher, Laura Cole from Sew In Brighton, will be there to help, guide and advise. All the materials will be donated by C&H and the classes are free of charge.

If you would like to make a square, the following dates are available with places limited to 8 in each class:

Saturday 28th October, 10.30am to 12.30pm

Saturday 4th November, 10.30am to 12.30pm
