Simon Webster Hair are no strangers to the L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition, reaching the UK Grand Finals in no less than 4 of the 5 years they have been trading and winning in 3 of those years.
This year’s competition took place at Battersea Evolution on Monday evening and once again, the Brighton salon walked away with two awards; Southern Regional Winner and 3rd place overall in the UK. This year they presented a sculptured bob that enhanced the volume and natural curl of their model, Gila, who walked the runway in the uber-cool ‘Collette’ suit from bespoke tailor Gresham Blake and a pair of killer red heels. SWH Team Colour Specialist, Patrick Matthews, coloured the look with a contouring technique to accentuate the model’s bone structure and the beautiful shape of the cut, by Senior Stylist, Yonick Filopoulos.
The competition is once of the hair industry’s most highly-respected awards ceremonies and each year, thousands of salons enter to compete across 4 categories. SWH Team have reached the Grand Final in all 4 categories: Men’s Image, Young Colourist, Afro Stylist and the Colour Trophy itself.
It’s a fantastic achievement not just for the salon, but also for local Brighton businesses, demonstrating the breadth of talent and creativity that the City boasts. If you haven’t visited the salon yet, then what are you waiting for? They’re taking the hair industry by storm and there’s no better time to see what all the fuss is about.
