Snoopers Paradise invites visitors to investigate its haunted objects this Halloween

Brighton’s famous antiques and vintage emporium is hiding 13 mysterious suspects among its thousands of curiosities — and visitors are invited to investigate.

Snoopers Paradise is inviting visitors to uncover the peculiar histories of 13 supposedly haunted objects this October half-term, with a free Halloween mystery running from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October.

The Haunted Objects of Snoopers Paradise will see the objects hidden throughout the North Laine institution, each accompanied by its own strange and potentially troubling story.

Armed with a specially illustrated map, visitors will search the shop, examine the objects and investigate their histories before deciding which one they believe has the most to hide.

Among the suspects are unsettling vintage dolls, curious antiques and something rather less easy to explain.

In typical Snoopers fashion, there is a further twist: 12 of the haunted objects are genuine vintage pieces available to purchase, complete with their dubious histories and a warning that buyers do so at their own risk.

The thirteenth suspect, however, is not for sale.

Visitors can submit their theories for a chance to win a £25 Snoopers Paradise voucher, with a final revelation promised after Halloween.

The event is free, suitable for curious visitors of all ages and requires no booking.
