We chatted to Kate Winder, Salon Director of North Laine Hair Company (a creative hair, beauty and nail salon situated in the heart of North Laine) to find out more about the salon, plans for reopening and what she loves most about Brilliant Brighton.
Hi Kate! When did you open North Laine Hair Company?
My husband, Nick and I opened North Laine Hair Company in August 2007.
Tell us more about what you do…
We are a small family business offering mens and ladies hair services, including cutting, styling and colouring, We’re experts in balayage.
We offer a range of professional hair care products, from Redken, Olaplex, Pureology, ghd and Eleven Australia.
Ask for our advice, we can talk you through our vast array of vegan products and recommend a colour and style to suit you, as well as advice on how you can maintain it at home.
What do you enjoy most about running North Laine Hair Company?
The thing I love most about my job is that it doesn’t feel like a job! I love that I can chat to clients, that have become friends while styling their hair and helping them feel confident and pampered.
Hard question but: what do you love most about Brighton?
We love being in the heart of Brighton, the excitement, the diversity, the entertainment, the energy… what’s not to love!
We are looking forward to re-opening on 12th April and will be back with the energy and buzz that we have always had. We can’t wait to see you!
