Tell us a little about what you offer…
We’re a family-run independent hair salon with a community focus and a session-styling pedigree. Our ethos is to combine the warm welcome of a local salon with the expertise of a high-end brand and that approach has won us several awards for innovation and teamwork. We’re creative, sustainable and gender-free. And we are 100% Brighton.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
The sociability of hairdressing is what makes it such a great profession. We can get distracted by the creative nature of the job, but the essence of it is really about sharing and nurturing; creating an environment of wellbeing and social exchange. And we all need that in bucketloads right now.
What do you love most about Brighton?
SWH Team is made up of true Brightonians like Simon, and those who were drawn here for the energy of the city. Brighton never stands still – it’s transient, growing and dynamic. And the footprints of the past are still there to influence and admire in the Brighton of today through its rich and diverse architecture, music scene, independent traders and community. It’s a melting pot of talent and adventure. And who doesn’t love living near the beach?
