Brighton Shop Hides 20 Golden Eggs in ‘City’s Hardest Easter Hunt’

Twenty golden Easter eggs are being hidden inside the maze of Brighton’s Snoopers Paradise this March – and finding one won’t be easy.

From Monday 23 March to Friday 27 March, staff at the sprawling North Laine vintage shop will hide 20 golden eggs somewhere among the packed shelves, vintage cabinets and winding corridors of the store.

Inside each egg is a raffle ticket linked to a prize waiting behind the cash desk. Rewards include bottles of wine, chocolate, Snoopers Paradise merchandise and gift vouchers.

Some eggs can take hours – occasionally days – before anyone finally spots them

Jenny Hurren from Snoopers Paradise said: “People get surprisingly competitive about it. They start combing every shelf in the shop. Every year someone is convinced they’ve searched everywhere – and then another customer suddenly spots one in the most unexpected place.”

The hunt begins when the shop opens at 10am on Monday 23 March and runs until Friday 27 March, or until all eggs have been discovered.

Customers can follow Snoopers Paradise on social media to track the progress of the hunt as eggs are gradually found.

Participants can share their discoveries using #SnoopersEasterHunt.
